This has been one of my biggest projects so far and I'd like to say that I'm not big into fanart, but I guess I got carried away in this picture.
I don't even remember what was in my head when I started drawing it really... All I know is that I've always kinda liked this Character from Final Fantasy X. And when I started this, I was a little moody, so I felt like I really wanted to embody it. I felt connected to it and wailed away on it ever since.
It's been about... what?... a month? now of endless hatching, erasing, moving around things, etc...
I observed that my lines got a lot thinner towards the ending of the picture, so I went back to the top and thinned the thicker ones out.
I used some references for placement of detail and whatnot, but I tried to stylise everything like size of teeth, hands, overall texture/shades and proportions - among other things.
I hope it was for a good purpose!
